How to use SPX gamma levels in TradingView
A step-by-step routine using our free TradingView indicator: paste the daily CSV, plot every gamma level, and frame the session before the open.
Daily gamma levels are only useful if they are on your chart before the open. With our free TradingView indicator you can plot the whole set in seconds, with no manual drawing.
Step 1: add the indicator
On TradingView, open the indicators panel and add Gamma Levels — CSV Key Levels Plotter (free and open-source). It draws horizontal levels from a simple CSV, so it works on SPX, ES, NQ or any symbol.
Step 2: copy the levels
Open the SPX Evolution dashboard, pick your instrument, and use Copy for TradingView. You get a CSV in exactly the format the indicator expects:
Price Level,Note,Foreground Color,Background Color
Use the ES or NQ set for a futures chart, or the SPX or NDX set for the index.
Step 3: paste and plot
Open the indicator settings, paste the CSV into the levels field, and the lines appear instantly, labelled by role: call resistance, put support, the HVL and any magnets. Header rows and lines starting with a hash are ignored, so you can paste the whole block as-is.
Step 4: tune the view
- Offset (basis): shift every level by a fixed amount, for example to line an index list up with a futures chart.
- Distance filter: hide levels far from price to keep the chart clean.
- Merge: combine near-identical levels within a tolerance.
- Labels and lines: adjust width, style and label position to taste.
Step 5: reassess on refresh
Levels are recalculated through the session. When the dashboard refreshes, copy the new CSV and paste it again so your map stays current. The download also keeps the time of each refresh in the file name.
The indicator does not repaint and gives no signals: it simply shows the levels so you can build your own read around them.
